Applications for energy assistance for the 2021-2022 heating season are still being accepted by the Access Community Action Agency. Help is available for all heated households in Windham and Tolland counties using oil, kerosene, propane, wood, pellets, coal, electric, or natural gas heat. In order to qualify, you must have an annual household income (before taxes) that is below 60 percent of the State Median Income. For example, a family of four can make up to $69,560 before taxes and qualify for assistance. A person who participates or has family members who participate in certain other benefit programs, such as SNAP, SSI, TANF, automatically meets the eligibility requirement. See the flyers below for more information. Please share with your friends, family, and neighbors!
